I enjoyed this old-fashioned hotel and stayed for 1 night here. The property was in a favourable location, near bus stAtion. What's more, it was adjacent to the Saõ Mateus festival and the historical district inside one of the city gates.

The guestrooms at Alcamim Guesthouse were so comfortable! I slept like a baby in the cozy beds, and the air-conditioning kept the room nice and cool. The private bathroom was a bonus too.
Personally, I would have preferred bigger TVs in the rooms. But hey, some people might still enjoy having a smaller screen.

This guesthouse is in the heart of the old town, making it perfect for exploring the historic area of Elvas. the rooms are comfortable and have air conditioning, which is a must in the hot weather. the staff is friendly and helpful, offering suggestions for restaurants and things to do in the area. there is free parking nearby and the bus station is conveniently close.
The wifi only works on the first level at the reception, which can be inconvenient who want to use it in their rooms.

We had a great time exploring the area and the location was perfect for our needs. there was ample free parking nearby, which was a huge relief. Secondly, the staff were really nice and helpful, giving us recommendations for places to visit in the limited time we had. Additionally, the place was clean and tidy, which made our stay more comfortable.
We did face some challenges during our stay. the misleading map, postcode, and first photo made it incredibly difficult for us to find the accommodation.

The location of this guesthouse was fantastic, just a short walk from the center of town. the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, giving great recommendations for places to eat and even mapping out the best route for us to explore the town. the bed was very comfortable, allowing for a restful night's sleep.
The confined shower cabin, which made it a bit uncomfortable to shower. the positioning of the AC unit in the room made it impossible to sleep with it on during the night.
